Mystery in the Woods

I was surprised to find this tall rusty silo on top of a hill in a wooded area yesterday and even more surprised to find an equally old and rusty fire hydrant nearby. Note the snow on the ground in April.
now that’s my kind of surprise! i would be looking for a way to see inside the silo, or for any other old buildings that might go with it. and snow in april would be most welcome at my house. we are under yet another fire watch because of the lack of precipitation and crazy hot high winds.

It started to storm, so my investigation will have to wait. We had a fire hazard warning last week, after all that snow it’s quite amazing that anything could ever dry up again.
Oooooh, another potentially dangerous place to explore…
Danger, when it’s all in one’s head, can be fun. Don’t like it in reality though.
