Willow Nest x 2

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bird’s nest in a willow tree. This one was tiny. While I was trying to focus, a big gust of wind obscured my view. I was going to delete the photo below, but thought it might be of some interest in black & white. Same scene – one still and one an unintentional, but natural, motion blur.
I like that second photo too
And that bird must be pretty dizzy when the wind blows!
Good point, maybe that’s why one doesn’t see nests in willow trees very often.
Silly bird building his nest,
While his mate takes a rest,
On the ground she’s on a pillow,
As the wind whistles thru the willow.
Wish I were on a pillow right about now!
