While at the orchid festival, I rounded a corner and saw a giant carnivorous plant. It was not real, it was totally out of place, and it was kind of wonderful. Yesterday’s post was an abstract detail of another section of the object.

I went back to the orchids yesterday. A 36 hour wintry mix is now upon us, so I thought I’d better treat myself to some new indoor ferns and an orchid before the storm began. I had the hardest time deciding, but did not pick these orchids.
