This daffodil make me stop and go get my camera. It was a perfectly nice sunny afternoon, but the sunlight was shining directly behind and through this single flower turning it into a blinding light.

My Hellebores are blooming abundantly this year and apparently they lose their stamens after pollination.
While I have been trying to be positive and post peaceful things this week, there have been a multitude of bomb scares and sirens at all hours. Last night there were helicopters circling, officers down, one suspect dead and now most of the area where I live is on lockdown this morning, as they search for the second bombing suspect.

I do not have the words to express all the horror and pain the senseless acts of violence that occurred in Boston today have caused so many. All I can do is show the beauty of the day happening at the same time, a few miles away, with the symbolism of white flowers for sympathy. We are safe and greatly saddened.
