Last night there were two thunderstorms, various neighbors illegally shooting off fireworks, the people attending the big Boston concert and fireworks nearby had to be evacuated for awhile due to the lightning, while there was a lot of dog shaking going on at my place. This photo is another variety of onion seen at the same garden, more abstract, with a less dramatic fireworks quality to it. I’m tired today.

Onion Fireworks

It’s July 4th, a big day for fireworks and frightened dogs.

Posting alliums / onions found at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a great place to visit with quiet natural fireworks. Now for the grand finale.
