String Fling

I hadn’t used my Lensbaby for awhile, but after my outing with it on Sunday, I have to say it teaches one humility. Trying to focus on a sweet spot in high winds is challenging. Shooting to get the best Lensbaby effect and then coming home to delete most of the images is humbling, but kind of fun at the same time.
Cool idea and beautiful depth of field!
Thank you, winegums (my daughter loves wine gums) for visiting and commenting.
Oh yes, winds and a narrow depth of field. Always fun. I like this. Abstract in an interesting way.
Thanks, Katie, I appreciate it.
Excellent – nice depth of field and lovely intricate patterns.
Thank you, Graham, it was an accidental art installation – sort of.
As always, this is lovely. It is amazing how you notice beautiful abstract images in the actual world.
Thank you and Hi, Tom. That’s just what catches my eye.
Another lovely abstract, Lynn. I know what you mean, I only have my camera phone and I delete more shots than I keep. It’s especially tricky for me to get the focus where I want it when doing close ups on a single object. I do think that limitations can force one to try diffrrent things. However I’m longing for a DSLR!
Thanks, Ashley, DSLRs are lovely and lenses do make a difference. Time to say it’s the photographer’s eye, not the equipment.
Love the chaos!
Chaos, yes, that describes it well. Thanks for the descriptor Tracy.
