Wild & Wood © Lynn Wiles 2015
I don’t know whether this is actually a wildflower or a wild weed growing against a wooden slat fence.

So-called weeds have flowers too, and some of them are quite lovely. Think about milkweeds, for example.
I think all wildflowers can be called weeds, but what about weeds that don’t exactly flower such as this one? Or are the leaves actually green flowers? So much to ponder. So much to forget.
The plant almost certainly puts out flowers, though they may be small and inconspicuous.
