Still in a state of shock, but looking forward to a long weekend and a visit from my far away daughter and her husband.
Interestingly the image is so similar to the one I posted yesterday. Synchronicity?
A need to step away from shock and despair?
Part of my routine, but my mind was looking for a peaceful place to remind myself that there is always beauty in our world, despite our circumstances.
My routine as well for the same reasons.
This is a lovely shot. It is one of those images which in theory shouldn’t work so well what with the bold dark tree trunks! However you pulled off your usual photographic magic for us all to enjoy and if definitely gave me a smile. Cheers, Mr C 🙂
Thanks, Nigel, I’m trying to find and share peace and light where I can these days – even though I’m not really feeling it.
It must be so strange in the US right now but I won’t start a conversation about all that is going on. Photo-therapy is a good way to stay connected with nature and the seasons and weather and a way to remind ourselves of some of the good that surrounds us. Your images are always a delight to see and I’m sure that sentiment is shared by many of your followers. Keep up the great work and continue to share the wonderful moments you capture so well with your camera. The good you bring into others lives cannot always be quantified but your blog is a great way to share some of it 🙂
Nicest comment ever! Thank you, Nigel.
