Imagine my surprise when this car pulled up next to me as I was waiting at a red light. I’ve tried to conceal the company name, but googled it when I got home. They are a local company that makes tests for influenza and COVID-19. Not to make light of this year in any way. May the new year eventually get better.
Wow! That puts my corona orange in the shade, for sure. Yes, I can imagine your surprise and the double take when it pulled up alongside. The owner of the company must have a very dark sense of humour!
I share your sentiment regarding the New Year. We’ve a way to go …… . All the very best, my friend.
As a friend said ‘at least it would be easy to find your car in a parking lot’. Best wishes to you as well.
Ha, ha – yes, that’s a good point 🙂
A great photograph but what a curious and shameless bit of advertising! I find it really depressing that we are at a point where companies are seizing on the pandemic for commercial gain! Aaaagghhh! What have they learned in 2020? On UK TV Ryan Air are advertising with a slogan ‘jab and go’!!! As if the vaccine is part of travel and holiday arrangements for 2021. Am I wrong in thinking it was people jetting all over the world that helped to spread the virus in the first place?! There is still a lot of madness out there. I hope we can all carry some learning into 2021 instead of creating money making opportunities from something so tragic. Right that is my rant over with.
On a brighter note… You know how much I appreciate your photography and I hope you continue to inspire me and others in 2021. Sending best wishes for a happy healthy new year. Take good care and keep safe, Mr C 🙂
I find it difficult at times to not get very angry at those who ignore common sense with their selfishness. But I decided not to rant about that today. I love our mutual admiration society. Stay safe and continue your creativity, Nigel.
Thank you.
My blogging trees and nature through December was about containing my outrage and focusing on positive things. Sadly tomorrow I have a few images lined up to mark the UK’s exit from the European Union! A very sad day.
Take good care and best wishes…
Brexit Covid. I’m trying to concentrate on trump’s last day in office.
Well, that is certainly an attention-grabbing vehicle livery.
All the best for 2021 to you and yours, Lynn!
