My parlor palm is fruiting for the first time. Supposedly I could plant the fruits and have many palms. Once again, my houseplants like the fact that all the trees have been cut down, I do not.

I have one of those houseplants and it flowered for the first time last year, to my surprise as I didn’t know they flowered. The buds are there again at the moment!
Maybe this will be an annual event? Did you plant any of them?
No, not last year. When the flowers go to seed this year I shall save some of them for future planting. I need to transplant some aloe babies and take cuttings from my cheese plant too but can’t easily get hold of the compost I like to use due to lockdown and everything.
My first stop after the vaccines kick in is the garden center.
Ha ha – yes, that’s on my list too – along with the library.
My list is so long.
