Solve the Green Mystery

I found this strange green stuff that looks a bit like a tropical succulent, but it’s not tropical here at all. To add to the mystery, it disappeared by the next day. What is/was it????

December in Minnesota we called it doe forage…never knew what it is 🦌
Someone I know in Ohio said the same. Hmmm
i think it is a type of fungus. maybe protoparmeilopsis. i based this on doing a google lens on your pic. this was the best guess.
I prefer the thought of fungi to deer scat. I’ll have to try out google lens.
Looks like a piece of the surface of a tennis court
Hah, that’s why I went back to see if it was plastic, scat or plant, but it was gone.
That is a puzzle. I have no idea. I looked up doe forage and could find nothing about it. It hardly looks real.
Doe forage is a nice term for deer poop
