I had originally planned to post the two most colorful images from yesterday, but with the combination of the extreme cold and YesBut’s prompting me to show winter in black & white, I decided to forsake color today. You are looking down a snow covered slope to a river covered in snow, with what I assume is a strip of thinner ice.

The temperature is -3 F (-19 C) with 20 mph winds, creating a windchill of -23 F (-30.5 C), as the sun rises and the snow is blowing this morning.

It’s been a busy day, but I think I’ll go one by one of all the things I like that were in that one location. Below for trains and bridges and here for funky old buildings. This one came complete with a big ol’ wooden ladder out front. The b&w sort of added to it’s age.
