Another reason why I’m doing this challenge is because I do not have any photos of other crafts to show this Friday.

There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.

I would like to extend this invitation to Truels, at Truels’ Blog . He lives in in Denmark and documents the seasons and lately has been doing some very nice monochrome images.

A third reason I decided to participate in this challenge is to finally tryout the Nik Silver Efex software I have had for over a year.

There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.

I would like to extend this invitation to Tobias, at Empire of Lights. He is an abstract photographer from Germany who posts intriguing images in color and in black & white.

Another reason to do this challenge is for the thrill of having five days without thinking up titles or saying something about an image.

There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.

I would like to extend the next invitation to Nigel at Postcard Cafe. He is a talented and prolific photographer from Sheffield, UK. He goes between color and b&w documenting so many interesting and sometimes whimsical parts of the city where he lives.

The title is for the four hours total spent trimming my wisteria this weekend (with some help) because it was wrapped around four trees. It is now self contained and the trees are free.

Today is the first official day of my stay-cation, but started this weekend by going out, knitting, spending time in the garden, walking, reading, and drawing – for the first time in ages.

My daughter loves Marshmallow World by Brenda Lee. It’s a catchy tune and it seemed appropriate, seeing this scene yesterday, while walking in the marshmallow world.

Today marks the fifth anniversary of this blog.

Sometimes I cannot wait to share what I have seen and other times posting becomes just another chore, but onward we daily bloggers go. Over the last few years, I have taken this date as an opportunity to take a break, but I am going to wait a bit for that.

This photo was taken before the snow and ice took over my little world.

Where Am I?
