I was tempted to flip the photo so the flowering tree would look like a real bouquet.

Crabapple © Lynn Wiles 2017
I’ve eaten the apples that fell from this tree, but never happened to see it in bloom before. A not sour visual treat.

Dogwood © Lynn Wiles 2016

Behind Me © Lynn Wiles 2016
While I was shooting this tiny flowering tree by the river, my back was turned to my dog who was not far behind me. When I turned around there was a sparrow doing a hummingbird stationary wing flapping kind of thing right above his tail. When I stepped towards them, the sparrow pecked my dog’s back, made him jump, and flew away. Very strange.
Not related to this story at all, but Happy Mothers Day.

Blossom Time © Lynn Wiles 2016
It has rained and been chilly for nearly a week straight. Good for the garden and for prolonging the blossoms on trees. Today there will be less rain and a good day to be outside.
