Seven years ago I saw a Crow Contemplating Strange Ice Patterns on a river in one town and then the other day, I saw them on a pond in another town. There was also a crow near the pattern, but it flew away before I could get my camera out. Deja Vu

Honestly, I had not been out on any photo walks for over a week until yesterday. A nice spring like day as the massive amounts of snow began to melt. Good thing I have waterproof boots.

I don’t know how well you can see that the veins in the ice mimic the leaves that are stuck in the ice.
