On the smooth iced lake, that was starting to warm and break up, I found this odd formation. There may be a large stone underneath this fancy cap of ice.

The cold front is upon us, so I decided to see how a lake begins to freeze. Yes, I went to the beach. I hope you can see the thin sheets of ice loaded with bubbles. I converted it to b&w, so it’s easier to see without the distraction of color. Quite the contrast from the day before.

It’s been awhile since I’ve experienced sunlight, so I went to a lake beach and admired the light through the semi-submerged leaves.

Bird Gerhl

I love the song Bird Gerhl by Antony & The Johnsons. I do not love to fly.
