Below the Highway

Another fence photo, protecting us from the highway above. I took my Lensbaby for a spin in a different location yesterday, needed a little shake-up so to speak. More later.

Maine Miniatures

Just got back from a short vacation in Maine, where I found myself in some spots to try out Lensbaby miniaturization. This little house got smaller.

Shot at a bay waiting for our lobsters to cook.

When your world is filled with rain, it’s time to take out the Lensbaby and shoot your Mother’s Day bouquet.

It’s all a mystery to me

April 7, 2011 § 10 Comments

I wonder if I would like some plant guides, so I would know what I am looking at. This is the same tree as the one that kept it’s catkins all winter posted as Tapestry and now the catkins are blooming and it is the first flowering tree of spring.

Then there’s this bush, with crested armor on it’s striped branches. I tried looking them up online, but failed. If you know what they are, please let me know.

By the way, the unknown bird in Stare Downs x 3 turned out to be a mockingbird that was cold and thus puffed out.

Blooming Sepia

Catkins & Buds

The place where the catkins of my birch tree and the early buds of my pussy willow tree intersect under the snow.
