Ahh, my first week of retirement has gone by and I have the Urge for Going (Joni Mitchell) even though the winter is not closing in. Why? Construction all day and throughout most of the nights. I thought I’d spend everyday being creative and I have done some things, but I’m mainly just a sleep deprived zombie. Best laid plans….

My meadow rue isn’t coming back. I get to see it in abundance in one of the places I walk my dog, but I shouldn’t take a plant home or should I??

A relatively new and delicate plant is now flowering in my garden. It also has a lovely name – lavender mist meadow rue.
