Tonight will be the first full moon on Christmas since 1977. It’s also going to be freakishly warm today and tomorrow. If you are wondering how I managed to photograph a Christmas scene before it happened, this is from the last full moon on Thanksgiving night.
To all who celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and for those that don’t, enjoy the peace and light in the dark of winter.

I needed to see the entire sky yesterday, which can be tough in an urban area, but I found just the right place. The day moon and wispy clouds were an added bonus.
