I finally found some moss capsules to photograph and then will try to draw <gulp>. The capsules hold the pollen and this found broken clump will eventually go into my terrarium.

Due to a pronounced scar on this tree trunk it created a deep shadow. The moss is greening around it. More crocuses are blooming, but it isn’t quite spring beyond the garden.

The snow and ice are melting and some ground is visible. It’s lovely outside, green things are sprouting and I made my vaccination appointments this morning.

A sunny spot from more than a week ago with birch roots, moss, and tiny daffodil greens coming up in the front. The highs are finally supposed to be above freezing for the next week. Let the melting begin.
