I don’t know how these swirly patterns of snow were formed, but they reminded me of simplified roses.

Somehow this tree, devoid of its bark, bare and raw seemed fitting to end the second year of the pandemic. But there is also the beauty of the abundant lichen and evergreen as well.

Happy New Year to all.

Between the solstice and Christmas, wishing you all a safe and healthy holiday period.

I walk by this yard every morning, but it’s not until this time of year that I stop to take notice.

I’m glad I did get one photo of peak foliage before two days of crazy storms. Now most of the leaves are on the ground. Seems to happen every year.

For a few days I thought I might have lost 20 years of photographs. Hopefully this has been resolved. My felicia plant did not flower all summer, but now that I have brought it inside for the winter it is producing it’s tiny blue blooms. I softened the photo a bit as I was playing around with my new version of Lightroom.

Three out of three people wanted to see various media, so here is my latest entry in my perpetual journal. A very unusual coloration on an autumn sweetgum leaf.
