The snow and ice are melting and some ground is visible. It’s lovely outside, green things are sprouting and I made my vaccination appointments this morning.

A sunny spot from more than a week ago with birch roots, moss, and tiny daffodil greens coming up in the front. The highs are finally supposed to be above freezing for the next week. Let the melting begin.

Almost all of the snow has melted exposing a bridge caused by erosion. I’m looking forward to a warm day today.

Fifty Harvard Kennedy School graduate students did a service project to clear invasive species from one of the places I frequent. This is the root system of one of the them. To be continued….
