This is the last day of my first and last challenge. It has distracted me from the snow and bitter cold. Maybe my world will soon change from black and white to color.
There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.
For my last day, I would like to invite Ben Rowe, at Aperture64. He is a Polish photographer who has done this challenge before and he did a great job. He said he would do it again. Go check out his work.
For those I have not invited, it has been for one simply selfish reason. I have been enjoying your images of early spring and/or late summer in full beautiful color.

The governor has called in the National Guard. Neighboring states are loaning heavy duty snow removal/disposal equipment. Waiting to hear whether we qualify as a federal disaster site. Kind of achy from so much shoveling. Sigh.

Detail of an icicle that was 10 feet tall on a pink wall. It’s going to start snowing later today and continue until Tuesday morning. Wah!

Today marks the sixth anniversary of this blog. I thought I’d do something different and post a photo from my first solo exhibition as a digital photographer eleven years ago. I do not miss the matting or framing one bit, but I do miss being able to take the time with each photo in photoshop. This image hangs on my bedroom wall.
Thank you all for your kind words and likes, and to each of my many followers. You keep me going out and shooting.

The three day weekend has come to an end. The sun did shine brightly on Sunday, but the other two days were gray & chilly. Warmth returns today.
