We had a very mild winter last year, so imagine my surprise discovering that my very long legged dog was afraid of the foot of snow that fell last night.

My view while cleaning the snow off my car as the snow moved east. It doesn’t look like much here, but 3.5 inches is the most ever recorded for October. Ahh, freak snowstorm, COVID numbers rising, the election a few days away. Such a tranquil time.

The snow was starting to melt and it was a lovely day yesterday, but more snow today followed by sleet and rain. But at least it’s daylight savings time again with more light in the evening hours.
