Lots of stairs with lots of railings, shadows, and some rusty drip marks going on. I must confess, I haven’t been out with my camera for days, since before the last big snowstorm. I know a lot of you are also sick of snow and want spring to come. Luckily, I took a lot of images the week before when the sun was out and the ground was bare.

This little stairway leads to another part of the path in a park, but the hill is so slight, I wonder when and why they built the stairs.

Steep

Old stairways tend to be narrow in depth and steep in pitch. I know people had smaller feet way back when, but why would they go for the steepness?
