Why do two day weekends go by so quickly? Feeling a little bug eyed myself this morning.

Still photography can be deceptive. It was a visually beautiful spring day yesterday, but there were 50 mph winds. I was surprised I was able to get a still photo.

The trunk of the tree with the buds I posted the other day. I was so taken by the buds, I didn’t notice the heart that day. Perhaps someone can identify the tree by its bark for me?

Much to my surprise, there were no other people or dogs to be found at the park yesterday. This meant I could let my dog run free through the snow all over the park. It was glorious.

The great melting is happening outside. This image reminds me that solitude can be beautiful.
My annual Christmas Eve party, with family and friends, (held on zoom) was very nice.
Wishing everyone a peaceful, safe, holiday time.
