While admiring a colorful tree yesterday, a beautiful blue sky autumn day, I found a paper wasp nest. A marvel of insect engineering, but I wouldn’t want to get too close. I googled paper wasp symbolism and there were a lot possibilities, so I don’t have a clue – do you?

My view while cleaning the snow off my car as the snow moved east. It doesn’t look like much here, but 3.5 inches is the most ever recorded for October. Ahh, freak snowstorm, COVID numbers rising, the election a few days away. Such a tranquil time.
