The sun shining on my African violet, while humming My Girl by the Temptations. The hairs help regulate temperatures and ward off unwanted critters.
Beautiful! An African Violet was one of my very first houseplants when I was young – along with the ubiquitous spider plant! The tune that popped into my head when I read your title was ‘Sunshine on a Rainy Day’.
It was very cloudy when I posted. I was gifted four African violets 20 years ago that have been sitting in my kitchen windows the whole time. Two died, but only one was replaced. I might try to propagate one.
